Anthra Agent

The Agentic Book Creator.

Anthra’s AI agent plans, writes, illustrates, narrates, and publishes your book with you, using the same 250+ tools as the studio and asking before every step that costs credits or can’t be undone.

How the agent makes a book

  1. 1

    You describe the book

Give the agent a premise, a genre, an audience, or just a feeling. It interviews you to sharpen the idea, then proposes a premise, characters, and a world bible for you to approve.

  2. 2

    It plans the structure

The agent builds a beat sheet and chapter-by-chapter outline. Change anything, ask for alternatives, or have it restructure the middle act. Nothing gets written until the plan is right.

  3. 3

    It writes, critiques, and revises

Chapters are drafted in your voice, then checked by a specialist critique panel and continuity tools that catch timeline slips, character drift, and dangling threads. Ask for a rewrite in plain language.

  4. 4

    It illustrates and narrates

The agent designs a cover, generates chapter art with character descriptions locked so faces stay consistent, casts a narrator per character, and produces a full audiobook.

  5. 5

It publishes, when you say so

EPUB, PDF, DOCX, print-ready paperback, and M4B audiobook exports, plus a public reading page. Publishing, narration, image generation, and anything destructive wait for your approval.

Agentic vs. one-shot AI book generators

Most AI book generators turn one prompt into one draft. An agentic book creator works the way an editor, illustrator, and narrator would: in steps, checking its own work, and coming back to you at the decisions that matter.

Built for other agents, too

Anthra exposes its whole toolset over a Model Context Protocol server and a versioned REST API. Point Claude, Cursor, Claude Code, or your own agent at it and it can create books, write and revise chapters, generate illustrations and narration, and publish, all under a scoped API key.

Questions about the agent

What is an agentic book creator?

A book tool driven by an AI agent instead of a single prompt. The agent decides which steps to take (planning, drafting, critiquing, illustrating, narrating), calls real tools to take them, looks at the results, and keeps going until the book is done or it needs your input.

Does the agent publish or spend credits without asking?

No. Publishing, narration, image generation, deletion, and print orders surface an Approve / Deny prompt in the chat before they run. Ordering a physical print copy and buying credits stay manual actions in the studio.

Can I use Anthra from Claude, Cursor, or Claude Code?

Yes. Add Anthra’s MCP server with a scoped API key and your assistant gets the same book, chapter, illustration, narration, and publishing tools. Keys can be limited to specific books and given a monthly credit cap.

Can I still write it myself?

Always. Every chapter opens in a full editor. Use the agent for the parts you want help with, whether that’s outlining, a stuck chapter, the art, or the audiobook, and write the rest by hand.
