These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Anthra (“Anthra”, “we”, “us”). They govern your access to and use of the Anthra application, APIs, and any related materials (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you warrant that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your credentials secure, and for any activity on your account. Notify will.schulz@aw3.tech of any unauthorised access immediately.
You agree not to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
You retain ownership of the premises, prompts, names, and any other material you provide (“Inputs”) and of the books, chapters, audio, and illustrations generated for you (“Outputs”). You grant Anthra a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, and transmit Inputs and Outputs to the extent necessary to operate the Service. You warrant that you have all rights necessary to provide the Inputs, including any personal data of third parties, and to publish Outputs at the visibility you select.
Anthra is an AI-assisted writing tool. Outputs are produced by large language models and may contain inaccuracies, biases, or content that coincidentally resembles existing works. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before publishing or relying on them, including for legal accuracy, factual correctness, and non-infringement.
Generation, narration, and illustration consume credits. Credits are purchased and tracked through our billing sub-processor (cred.diy). Credits are non-refundable except where required by law and have no cash value. Pricing is shown on the Pricing page.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we process personal data. Where you process personal data of others through the Service (for example, by including someone’s story in a memoir), you remain the data controller and you are responsible for the lawful basis. For business customers a Data Processing Addendum is available on request from will.schulz@aw3.tech.
You may terminate your account at any time from your account page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, the licences in Section 4 expire, except for Outputs already published with public visibility, which may remain accessible through their public URL until you remove them.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, except where prohibited by mandatory consumer protection law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that Outputs will meet your expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to Anthra in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) one hundred euros. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except that consumers retain the protection of the mandatory laws of their country of residence. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts in Dublin, Ireland, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to sue in your own jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and in-product at least 14 days before they take effect, and continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance.
