Live chapter documents, a new dashboard, and a copilot that can finish the job
Chapters became real documents you can write in together, the dashboard was rebuilt around the book you are actually working on, and the copilot picked up the production and layout tools it had been missing.
- NewRich chapter documents: formatting, equations, tracked suggestions and live collaborator carets, all per chapter, with the Markdown kept in step underneath.
- NewRedesigned dashboard — a new-book dialog, library cards that show where each book stands, and a continue-reading hero that picks up where you stopped.
- NewSign in with 1Profile, which also brings Google, Microsoft, Apple and GitHub sign-in with one button each.
- NewThe copilot can now produce the real files: EPUB, Word and print-ready PDF, with the trim-size catalog, bleed and margins it can set for you on request.
- NewThe copilot can see when someone has a chapter open in the editor, so it tells you before rewriting under a collaborator.
- NewWebhooks are now set up by asking the copilot — your server gets notified when a job finishes instead of polling for it.
- ImprovedEvery AI path now charges credits consistently; around fifteen editor actions (polish, continue, rewrites, three-draft, blurb, coach) had been running free.
- ImprovedFailures are reported rather than swallowed: sign-in problems, AI-provider outages and user-facing errors are now attributed and alerted on.
- FixedStarting a book could charge credits and deliver nothing. Runs are now reserved before the charge, failed runs refund themselves, and anything already owed has been repaid.
- Fixed1Profile sign-in ended on a server-error page when the provider replayed its callback — and granted a second helping of welcome credits.
- FixedImporting an EPUB crashed the whole import route, taking every other format down with it.
- FixedThe outline step and the copilot chat failed on every request against the production database, which was missing tables the code expected.
- FixedA stuck generation held its live connection open until the request timed out instead of reconnecting cleanly.
- FixedPage views were counted twice when a page remounted, and the first-book stage markers rendered as whatever square-ish glyph the device had on hand.
